Good News!
Building permits in April 2010 were 606,000, a decrease of 11.5% from March, but 15.9% above the April 2009 estimate. Housing starts rose 5.8% from the prior month, to 672,000. This was 40.9% above the April 2009 level.
Slight Hitch?
Lumber prices appear to be up, substantially. Keep an eye on it.
